LANGTANG TRAIL IS OPENED!!!

Langtang one of the most affected by 25 April 2015 earthquake where main settlement Langtang was totally swept away by killing more than 400 people. It's already one and half year past since last earthquake. After earthquake lots of things happen with Langtangpas. Finally almost all people are able to return back to Langtang valley again.

Rebuild finished at certain places and ready to serve for tourists as well.

#Ghora Tabela near army post one hotel finished rebuild and ready for welcoming guest.

#Gumba Kangtanshah four tea house rebuild and ready to serve.

#Langtang Village ten hotels finished rebuild and ready to serve. Now Langtang village have capacity of 60 tourists.

#Mundu Village have five hotels finished rebuild and have capacity of 40 tourists.

#Sindium village one tea shop is rebuild and ready to serve.
Nespali hard rock cafe and another new tea shop , where two tea shop ready to serve.

#Kyanjin Gumba which is now biggest settlement after earthquake where now 25 hotels rebuild where more than 300 tourists capacity now. Two bakeries function. Most famous Dorje Bakery is temporarily functioning and serving it's customers since April 2016.

The Langtang trek is a good option if you are looking for a relatively short trek with easy access from Kathmandu. The trek has a number of good quality tea houses that are spaced every few hours along the trek making it easy to find a comfortable place to sleep and a good meal. 1) Menus – Tea houses along the Langtang Trek serve only vegetarian food.

2)Sleeping – Tea houses will provide blankets and pillows free of cost so it’s not required to bring a sleeping bag.

3)Internet – There is no internet access on the Langtang Trek and Syabrubesi is the only town from where you will find reliable internet.

4)Phone Calls – Tea houses usually have landlines from which you can make phone call for a fixed rate. If you have a Nepali Sim Ncell only works up to Lama Hotel and Sky Network works above Lama Hotel.
